[1] A note in the 1952 sale catalogue entry indicates the painting was frequently attributed to Lampi when it was in this collection. [2] The painting was listed as "Jacopo Amigoni? - Interior with elegant company" on the Koetser Gallery invoice to the Kress Foundation, dated 20 February 1953 (copy in NGA curatorial files).
