According to the Archive, the painting was valued 150 liras by Petroni and 120 liras by Guizzardi. The painting is mentioned as part of the Hercolani Collection in the 1774 volume by L. Crespi "Descrizione delle scolture et architetture della citta e sobborghi di Pescia e della Toscana."
