Kress Foundation on 8 February 1957; gift to George Peabody College for Teachers, now Vanderbilt University Fine Arts Gallery in 1961, no. 1979.0658P [1] In the catalogue of 1880, no. 46, as by an unknown artist; from 1884 to 1907 it was listed as Netherlandish, first half of the sixteenth century. In 1928, no. 679 as Goswyn van der Weyden; repeated in 1938.
