Kress Foundation; gift to North Carolina Museum of Art in 1960, no. GL.60.17.21. [1] Wilhelm Suida, Monatshefte für Kunstwissenschaft, vol. II, 1909, p. 473, describes having recently seen the painting at Böhler's.
