Kress Foundation, New York; [1] gift 1952 to NGA. [1] The two previous collections are given on the Wildenstein invoice, dated 23 June 1949 (copy in NGA curatorial files). The invoice, for a total of 16 items, lists the sculpture as one of a pair by "Claude Michel (Clodion)."
