(Count Alessandro Contini Bonacossi [1878-1955] Rome-Florence); sold to Samuel H. Kress on 15 May 1929; gift 1961 to the Lowe Art Museum, University of Miami, Coral Gables, no. 61.007.000  This could be Horace Buttery, a British restorer and an artist, whose father Ayerst Hooker Buttery died in 1929.
